Raised in New York, Rachel has enjoyed a career rich in creativity with ten years as a personal chef specializing in organic foods, a career which led to her own show on the Food Network and three years creating her current fine fabrics business. Rachel is also enamored with the world of ceramics and can be found in Josh’s studio cultivating her love of texture and form.

As a Yoga teacher, Rachel has seen the growth of the spirit of India enter the western vernacular over the last decade and was spurred on by her students who repeatedly asked to purchase her Indian silks. The current business evolved out of local market sales and custom ordering requests by local companies, restaurants and hotels.

Rachel imports exclusively from India and hand-selects every fabric, many of which are custom-made to Rachel’s own exacting specifications. Final manufacturing is managed in San Diego, CA, where Rachel is hands-on with her team.
